FAQs
What is Non-Emergency Medical Transportation?
1
NEMT stands for Non-Emergency Medical Transportation. It’s a safe, reliable way to get to medical appointments, therapy sessions, dialysis, lab work, or clinic visits when an ambulance is not needed. We focus on comfort, punctuality, and people who need a little more care.
Who can use your service?
2
Our service is for anyone who needs a little extra help getting to medical care:
Seniors who may need assistance walking or getting in and out of the vehicle
People with disabilities or mobility challenges
Patients recovering from surgery, illness, or treatment
Anyone who feels unsafe or unsure traveling alone to appointments
We’re here to support you with dignity, patience, and respect.
How do I book a ride?
3
Booking is simple. You can reach us by phone, email, or through our website booking form. When you book, we’ll ask for:
Your pickup location and destination
Appointment date and time
Any mobility needs (wheelchair, walker, stretcher, etc.)
Whether you’re traveling with a caregiver or family member
We recommend booking as early as possible, but we’ll work with you to find a time that fits your schedule.
Do you have wheelchair accessible vehicles?
4
Yes. We can arrange wheelchair-accessible vehicles when needed. These vehicles are equipped with ramps or lifts and securement systems to keep your wheelchair stable during the ride. You can travel in your own wheelchair, and our drivers are trained to assist safely and respectfully.
How much does it cost?
5
How far you’re traveling
The type of vehicle needed (standard van, wheelchair-accessible van, or stretcher transport)
Any extra assistance required
We provide clear quotes before your ride so there are no surprises. If you’re unsure what applies to you, contact us and we’ll help you understand your options.
